ETI-Research BP-20C-polskruv är en högpresterande produkt. Tillverkad av 1100-serien härdad koppar med en IACS-värdering på 102%. Du kan vara säker på att ljudsignalen inte försämras genom att behöva gå igenom ett dåligt ledande material som mässing (IACS-betyg 28%).
Koppar är mycket överlägsen mässing när det gäller konduktivitet och som sådan erbjuder ETI-Research BP-20C en nivå av ljudsignalkvalitet oöverträffad i konkurrerande produkter med samma pris.

Specifications

  • The post length is 20mm to suit most if not all speaker back plates. For direct insert into loudspeaker backpanels we recommend to use the ETI-Research BP-50C binding post.
  • The housing is made from aluminum covered with a polymer compound. The polymer threads onto the post as to not have any conductive material touching the pure copper.
    Aluminum is great at rejecting EM/RF noise that is so prevalent nowadays.
  • The surface of the copper needs to be closed to prevent oxidation. Our ETI-Research BP-20C has a 24k gold plating applied without any nickel. This plating process does not affect sound quality. Many manufacturers use a nickel surface which is applied before the gold plating process as this is easier and cheaper and makes the gold have a shiny look. The unfortunate problem is that nickel is an extremely poor conductor (IACS rating 24%) and will degrade the audio signal.
  • The nut used to secure the ETI-Research BP-20C is made from a high-density non conductive polymer so that no conductive material is touching the copper post except for what is needed to transfer the audio signal.
  • Securing the wire is by choice either screw or solder.The BP-20C has a Gold Plating applied without any nickel. Many manufacturers apply a nickel surface coating before the Gold Plating as this makes the Gold look shiny. The unfortunate problem is Nickel is a poor conductor and will degrade the Audio Signal!
