Beskrivning
As with the rest of the Kryo line from ETI-Research, the Kryo Banana Connector has a cryogenic treatment applied during production to a specific audio formula. This ensures the removal of residual stresses and improves the product’s wear resistance for long-lasting durability.
This approach also means you will notice no degradation in sound quality over time. Perfect for high-end audio equipment consumers expect nothing but the best from. If you’re developing a quality audio system for demanding audiophiles, be sure to make the smart choice and insist on ETI-Research components.
The Kryo Banana Large Connector is supplied with a brass housing suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 11,6 mm.
For cables with an outer diameter up to 4,6 mm use the Kryo Banana Small Connector.
The ETI-Research Kryo Banana Connector’s innovations and refinements include:
- Major components made from Tellurium Copper with Rhodium plating for superior conductivity and long-lasting tarnish-free durability.
- The Copper connector is lathed from one piece of Copper, with as much material removed as possible to allow for minimal resistance and capacitance, yet retaining the ability to transfer the current needed.
- Housings made from Brass for superior vibration damping and high EMI/RF noise rejection.
- Your choice of two housing sizes to suit a variety of audio cables.
This is the best Banana you have ever heard. There are some limitations however.
This banana is made using a 5 angle CNC machine. It starts with a cilinder of pure Tellurium Copper. During the production process as much copper as possible is taken away. As a result you end up with 1 piece hollow pin. This pin is slightly oversized and acts as a spring.
Please note it is a single assembly, there is no second part. This pin should be inserted in the chassis part with a slight twist. While inserting slightly twist your fingers to the right. ( like the hands of the clock from 12 to 1) and push it in. Do not put it in a wrench, do not stand on it…….it’s not your normal banana.
This connector is made for (close to) permanent connection. If you need to change connectors frequently use spades.
Please note due to the design to have maximum surface area contact to the Binding Post for the first time please “screw” it in. The tight fit will mold to the Binding Post and allow maximum surface area contact.
